Eric Krohel, MST



Mr. Krohel has practiced in the Credits and Incentives (C&I) area for over 20 years and was one of the first practitioners in this specialization. He developed and managed
the Incentives department for three different firms, including a major
Northeastern-consulting firm, a southern-based tax credit firm, as well as a large International consulting company. 


Eric started ELK Consulting Group to assist mainly technology related companies in securing funding through tax credits and other sources. Mr. Krohel had previously been
an executive at an Internet company and saw the need that these early stage and
start-up companies have for funding and now specializes in this area.


Eric has been published extensively in major professional periodicals such as “MultiState Taxation and Incentives”, “State Income Tax Alert”, “Expansion Management”, and numerous Incentive and Economic Development newsletters. Mr. Krohel has extensive
contacts around the country with both Economic Development Agencies and Revenue
Departments and has done work in the C&I area in over 40 states.




Mr. Krohel has a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland and an M.S. in Taxation from Seton Hall University.

Mike is responsible for initiating and building new client relationships, as well as expanding existing client relationships.  Mike graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Ceramic Engineering, and from the Rutgers Graduate School of Business with an MBA in Marketing and Finance, where he received the Beta Gamma Sigma Bronze Medal as the outstanding student in his graduate school class. 


Additionally, he has been named to "Who's Who in The East", and is an active member in The American Marketing Association, The Association of MBA Executives and Beta Gamma Sigma.  His background includes a wealth of diversified business experience in product management, marketing/sales management and advertising with large, medium and small consumer products and services companies.
